Prof Robert Scott works through ScottHealth Ltd to provide the high quality professional eye care services. These build on his expertise as a retinal specialist and cataract specialist.

He is the ex-Royal Air Force eye consultant lead and has served on multiple missions and tours in the Middle-East, including Iraq and Afghanistan. His wide experience of healthcare and its management gives him a unique perspective of ophthalmology healthcare provision.

He has been and eye specialist for over 30 years and has provided professional eye services as a consultant for over 20 years. He is very experienced at eye surgery and specialises in cataract and retinal procedures.

He founded ScottHealth to provide and develop modern ophthalmic treatments and is developing new treatments for scarring of the eye after retinal detachment surgery, keratoconus, new eye drops to treat age-related macular degeneration and  certain eye and brain cancers.

The company holds the expertise of 30 successful years of clinical and research practice. Prof Robert Scott provides a safe environment for his patients and his reasearch. He delivers up-to-date eye-care that addresses the individual needs of each patient  to suit their lifestyle.

Prof Scott holds clinics in London and Birmingham. In London, at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in St John's Wood and at 25 Harley Street in Marylebone. In Birmingham, he practises out of the state of the art Edgbaston Eye Consultants clinic at 22 George Road, Edgbaston, deep in the heart of the Edgbaston Medical Quarter.
